Welcome!

Welcome to Walyo Yerta, the Adelaide South West Community Garden, now established in the South Parklands just south of the Veale Gardens Conservatory off South Terrace and auspiced by City South Association.

Our vision for Walyo Yerta Community Garden is of an inclusive space for gathering, creativity, celebration and healing. Enjoyed as a tranquil haven or vibrant focus of activity, it is a unique place for learning and fun.

It is a place where our urban community connects with the growing and enjoyment of fresh, local organic food.

It is a place where all are welcome and all is shared. Our community garden will become the inspiration and catalyst for further local initiatives.

Gardening groups meet regularly each week on Tuesdays 9-11am, Thursdays 9-11am & Sundays 9-12noon, and members can use the garden at any other time.

If you enjoy playing in the dirt & creating fresh organic produce, or if you just like to watch, come and visit the garden. New members, supporters and spectators are always welcome.

Whilst this website is being developed, you can find more information and photos on our Face Book Page or contact Greg Martin on 08 8212 2468 or Jim Wishart 08 8231 4919.
